the researchers at Georgia Tech created one more way to steal information from someone [because we don’t have enough already….]. Using smarphones, they were able to detect the vibrations made by a typing in a keyboard. Each stroke could be decoded with a 80% precision. Before jumping out the windows, keep in mind that the smartphone must be next to the keyboard [until someone adapts a sensor] and any other vibrations can interfere completely [for now]. Still, why did they research that? [Apparently because they had nothing else to do, it will be presented at the ACM Conference where the research team will hide under lies reveal their malicious intent work.
It seems something went wrong with the launching of the iPhone 4S, some users are complaining about a yellow screen [how nice, a sepia filter built-in]. The forums are full of people posting messages about their phones that forgot all the colors but yellow [“We are so fast…”]. The Yellowgate is a problem which the iPhone 3GS, 4 and the iPad 2 also had. The problem is the “glue” used to fix the screens did not have time to cure [“…that we forget things.”]. The issue shall be fixed by itself within a few days. If not, the Apple Store is your next stop. [Although it affects the white version (apparently), it makes me wonder what was the time between the factory and the store…]
Google Buzz, the company’s [wrong] answer to the microblogging twitter, is being terminated. In a post, Google announced that Buzz, Jaiku, Code Search, iGoogle [the social part] and the University Research Program are kicking the bucket. The GLabs also is in the list, but the addons already developed are not affected. [I’m still trying to figure out the purpose of the service but, for a lot of people, it was nothing but an annoyance. The company said this was for more focus in important projects like Ghost+ G+. And i’m singing “I’m sorry investors / i never meant to fool you / i never meant to make you spend but tonight / i’m cleaning out my closet”.]
According to the University of London, one in ten people in UK are leaving their Facebook password in their wills [now not even the dead has privacy anymore]. The more digital is the person’s life, the more is the desire to leave it behind it seems [but once you update the status to deceased, there isn’t much left to do]. Other social sites and cloud storage’s accounts also are in the list of things being bequeathed [as if we don’t have enough with our own]. Also, according to a study by Rackspace, 25% of UK residents that makes usage of online storage services wishes to put it in their testaments [couldn’t find a good word, i see]. [Spammers might cause fear for some people, but i believe there are some alternatives. Though this is throwing rocks in the ocean in front of how some (actually a lot) of people are addicted to the online world.]
Do you like camp fire in your living room? Then if you have a Sony Bravia, this news will be quite unpleasant. The company announced that certain models that were sold since 2007 contains parts “affected by a quality issue” [*cough*cough*defect*cough*cough*] and in a rare occasion [other name for when was less expected, all the time for me] it might overheat and melt the TV’s case. Until now, there were no reports of damage neither physical injury, a few problems appeared in Japan though. [Sony tried to disguise it as inoffensive as possible, though the possibility of it burning a house down is extremely low, it still pose a threat for the consumer. More information about how to proceed in the company’s site or by email, for registered users.]

Once the great hope against piracy because of the #D [actually a turn down for me], James Cameron’s Avatar won the golden medal in the “most pirated movie of all time” category [is that the Academy Awards!?]. Searching for “Avatar DRM” might answer a few whys. [i love rice]
Today, the company announced that the splitting will not happen and that the spin off Quicksilver Quiksilver Qwikster will not see see the light of day. The CEO Reed Hastlings said that the company may hastened too much but, apparently, he does not think that way about the DVD rental separation, since there were no words about going back. While decisions are not being made, the number of subscribers keeps falling and the competition is having parties with them. [Their (uncertain) recovery will come from time, this is a perfect example of how someone(?) shouldn’t take steps longer than the legs.]
The feeling is the best, how can—- {That’s not the topic] According to the Duke and the Rice Universities, throwing out DRM can reduce piracy. Before i did read the entire news, i knew beforehand that only the the legal user suffers from DRM and its restriction [most annoying], that the protection is just a matter of time before the hackers break it down [whom are always determined to do it] and that it only causes the price to increase [which i doubt it is the protection expenses alone]. And i am right, so who is to blame, the companies of the artists? [Both, not entirely, it’s just “The power of many silences the wisdom of few”.]
After a few days without frequent posts, i was getting ready to write something that wasnt about the Man’s departure [and i fear it’ll continue because u’re in trance for read’n], when going to change the blog’s background, i get face to face with something unexpected. The site had changed its way to customize, and i changed my trolllface for a angryface [n’ still ugly as hell]. I was starting a text about how abrupt changes are wrong [it more like an war of words march’n…], mentioning Facebook as an example […at the dammed news feed], and how i was trying to convince my friends to join Google+ [u could’n convince one, i wonder now that u have four]. Until the idea of switching browsers slipped into my mind, so i did close my Opera [the best browser that nobody we use] and opened the page on Firefox. I was surprised when i saw the page with features i had not seen before, although it doesnt do much out of being a new position for the old menus. Although there wasnt much for me to do, the update surely is welcomed. [It was’n like changes that makes fight’n a colossal squid acceptable that some fruits wannabe do, it was normal. Although i’m still disappointed with Opera, i’ll wait and see if this’s something from the site or the program]
If this was intended to be a prank, it was a well done one. I have no words to describe it, mainly because i wasn’t going to buy one [because you actually couldn’t pay for one…]. I’m actually satisfied with the one i own [you bought it because you forgot it was cheaper (half of the price) on Internet without knowing symbian was sucking the big one, very satisfying indeed…]. I’m still… i don’t know what to feel, the world was, kind of, fooled [i was laughing imagining Steve Jobs headbutting apples at the tech sites while making trollfaces]. To make matters worse, we’ll have to wait until 2013 for the V. [What vengeance? Apple against Google because the search engine is suggesting Shiri (“ass” in Japanese) instead of Siri, one of the phone’s new feature? Anyway, like 2000, i won’t kill myself over some ending of a cycle.]
